Reasons and benefits of using JAXA Supercomputer System
By leveraging supercomputers, even large-scale algorithms can be emulated for quantum computation, enabling the development of highly reliable algorithms.
Achievements of the Year
In quantum computational fluid dynamics simulation, a single time-step evolution is implemented using a technique called block encoding, and the final state is obtained by applying a method known as QSVT (Quantum Singular Value Transformation) with the block encoding as a subroutine. In this work, we demonstrate such a QSVT-based computation using block encoding for a two-dimensional linear flow, through simulations performed with the quantum computing library QURI SDK developed and provided by QunaSys.
