System Configuration of JSS3

The following figure is the overview of JSS3 system configuration.

TOKI-SORA is our main computing platform. Theoretical peak-performance of TOKI-SORA is 19.4 PFLOPS. Total memory size is 180 TiB.
Water cooling system is adopted to remove more heat which is the result of high computing performance with TOKI-SORA.

TOKI-RURI is the general-purpose computing system. It offers four configurations to meet various requirements of users and achieve efficiency.
It is also equipped with GPUs to provide powerful support for visualization, AI and other emerging usages.
Its theoretical peak-performance is 1.24 PFLOPS, and the total memory size is 104 TiB.

TOKI-TRURI, with theoretical peak-performance of 145 TFLOPS and the total memory size of 10.8TiB, is also available at the Tsukuba Space Center. Non-stop operation service is introduced. Data synchronization between Chofu and Tsukuba sites would be done for continuous computing on TRURI in case of outage of RURI.

TOKI-FS is the single-name-space large file system. TOKI-FS consists of HDD storage and large-scale all-flash NVMe storage.

J-SPACE is also installed as an archiving infrastructure for long-term data storage.

The disk cache has a capacity of 3PB and the tape storage has a capacity of 70PB.
