Abstract
In 2022, experiments in microgravity (LBPGE) were conducted on the ISS. This research aims to accumulate knowledge on liquid behavior in low-gravity environments and to elucidate sloshing phenomena within small sealed vessel.

Reasons and benefits of using JAXA Supercomputer System
In this system where surface tension dominates, it is necessary to reproduce complex interfacial behavior. This requires substantial computational resources, and utilizing JSS enables the rapid execution of massive calculations.
Achievements of the Year
We constructed a numerical simulation model similar to the LBPGE experiment and investigated the effect of the initial liquid level on liquid behavior. When oscillating at the first resonance frequency of the vessel under ground gravity conditions, resonance occurred at an initial liquid level of 9.33 mm, but not at 7.34 mm. Furthermore, at 8.00 mm, an increase in the liquid amplitude value was observed, but the magnitude of this increase was smaller compared to 9.33 mm. This clearly shows that the initial liquid volume enclosed within the vessel influences the resonance phenomenon.
