Abstract

In this research, we have extended FaSTAR-code to be able to handle coupled analysis of motion and aerodynamics and conducted a store-separation analysis for the validation.

Goal

In this research, we extend FaSTAR-code to be able to handle coupled analysis of motion and aerodynamics and conduct validation analysis.

Objective

The purpose of this research is to conduct the store-separation analysis by FaSTAR-Move within 2~3 days with JSS2.

Use of the Supercomputer

Computer for large-scale unsteady flow simulation

Necessity of the Supercomputer

JSS must be needed to complete numerical simulations of unsteady flow phenomenon and understand it in short time span .

Achievements of the Year

We have extended FaSTAR-code to be able to handle coupled analysis of motion and aerodynamics and conducted the store-separation analysis of Eglin test case for the validation. Our numerical result showed good agreement with experimental data. We confirmed that the store-separation analysis was completed within 2~3 days with JSS2,2048 parallel.
